एक अजीब सा वक़्त था 

याद आ रहा था किसी का सिर थपथपाना 

वो कोमल हाथ

जिनके पढ़ते ही मानो खो जाता था हर दुःख का साया, 

पर आज कोई नहीं था पास में 

 बस मैं थी 

 फिर क्या था ,

खुद के हाथ अपने ही बालो में उलझ रहे थे 

थपकियों के लिए वो बिलख रहे थे।
